For Memorial day, we put together this simple patriotic barbecue tablescape that included a few different DIY projects. One of them is this very easy red, white, and blue banner. We also have so many other summer tablescapes for you to check out!
For this project, you will need patterned paper in a combination of red, white, and blue. We chose red and white stripes, blue and white stripes, and solid red and white paper. We alternated the striped paper with the solid paper.
Pin for later!
First, cut all the paper into triangles about 6-8 inches tall.
More Summer Decor Ideas:
Cut out white stars and stick them to the solid color paper.
Punch a whole on each side of the panels and thread white ribbon through each one to hold the panels together.
In between each panel, add strips of white fabric. We cut an old white t-shirt for this.
Finish off the look by adding red and blue curling ribbon.
You can add this banner around the table, onto your mantel, on a wall or to your porch. The options are endless!
