Danny’s daughter Kelly received a gift basket wedding gift inside a gorgeous wine crate. We absolutely love wine-themed so of course, once she emptied the crate, we had to do something amazing with it! Here’s what we came up with.
I had this pretty crappy fold-out table lying around for years. We used it as a base to make a super cute mini-wine bar for my wine-themed sunroom.

You can really put something together like this with any table and any crate or pretty tray you may already have. But if you love this crate as much as we do, you can purchase gorgeous wine crates online.
First we spray painted the table white.
Because the crate is pretty deep, we filled it with cardboard and wood so that the elements would have some height.
Then we filled it with any wine-related items we already had in the house. Here’s a list of what you can add:
- Wine bottles
- Ice bucket
- Wine glasses
- Wine corks
- Wine openers
- Wine books
- Wine charms
- Wine stoppers
- Artificial grapes
This mini bar fit perfectly under the wine cork frames also made by Danny.
This is a great way to add some more bar areas during a party or the holidays!
